Skills & Requirements

• You’re an expert in Objective-C and know the iOS SDK inside out.
• You’re also interested in web on mobile using any number of frameworks, such as PhoneGap, Corona, or JQuery Mobile.
• You like having ownership of all aspects of the development process
• You have a track record of leading and delivering successful iOS applications
• You love solving problems and facing new challenges
• You enjoy mentoring developers on your team
• You’re as comfortable in front of a client as you are behind your computer

Primary Duties:

• Design support for sales presentations and client communications
• Design and maintain sales support literature
• Craft project-relevant content strategies and update materials accordingly
• Design, production, and execution of brand materials
• Manage and execute various other internal design needs
• Archive and manage library of sales and marketing assets

Requirements:

Passion and creativity, with a solid track record for success. This is a junior to mid-level position for someone hungry to grow and help us succeed. You should have at least 2+ years of experience in a design environment, with a portfolioto prove it. A strong education or college degree certainly won’t hurt, but demonstrable, qualitative experience in marketing for technology and an impressive portfolio is what will get you hired.

You must have a willingness to take criticism, and have the ability to defend your work.  If something doesn’t work, you must also have the humility to start from scratch and relish the challenge. This is key. We also strongly prefer someone who can work out of our Houston, TX office.

Additionally, we require an expert knowledge of the web, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe CS Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.)

WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPER (rails with backbone)

As our Web Developer, you will be working on our new Secret Stealth Project.  You will be responsible for programming in an entire feature from front-end to back-end.  You will also focus on getting the usability and look & feel *right* in order for our users to have the best experience possible.

You should have:

• Ability to complete an entire feature from HTML/CSS/JS to RoR to SQL
• Care deeply about UI (both usability and look & feel)
• Serious skills with HTML / CSS / Javascript
• Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and SQL
• 1+ year of software development experience
• Bachelor degree or higher

Nice to have (but not necessary):

• HTML5, SCSS
• jQuery, jQUI, Backbone, CoffeeScript
• MySQL
• web/graphic design

Other stuff we’d be happy to hear about:

• Experience with business systems (accounting, inventory, CRM, etc.)
